Downtown in South Florida

Downtown

Downtown Miami is a major city in the U.S. recognized in many spheres for its international financial institutions, commerce, media, culture, arts, entertainment and worldwide trade. Located along the Atlantic Ocean & Biscayne Bay in South Florida, Downtown Miami has transformed into a chic urban metropolis, an alluring attraction to those who seek that "Manhattan in the South" lifestyle.

Downtown Miami is one of the fastest growing areas in South Florida causing a high demand for further residential and commercial development. Thus, since the early 2000's, residential developers have come in droves to develop ultra-luxury condominium towers throughout Downtown Miami, thereby truly transforming the skyline of Miami. In fact, one of the newest luxe condo towers to grace Downtown is One Thousand Museum, which was designed by the legendary starchitect, Zaha Hadid. Ms. Hadid, who was the first woman to win the Pritzker Prize, brought her innovative design ideas to life in the magic city by designing the first building in the U.S. to use a glass-fiber reinforced concrete shell as the permanent frame for its highly-innovative exoskeleton. The 62-story tower, complete with a rooftop helipad, over-the-top-amenities and spectacular direct-water views, has forever changed the skyline of Downtown Miami.

Further, over the past few decades, a few top developers collaborated to piece together nearly 30 acres of land in the heart of Downtown Miami to create the 2nd largest urban development in the United States, second behind NYC's Hudson Yards. The mega mixed-use project dubbed "Miami Worldcenter," which is currently under construction, will be a beautiful ‘city within a city' when completed in 2019. Miami Worldcenter will include approximately 1,200 residential units, including the ultra-luxe 58-story Paramount Miami Worldcenter condo tower, the Mall at Miami Worldcenter which will be an upscale open-air shopping district, a 7th Street Promenade featuring 90,000 square feet of dining and entertainment options, Marriott Marquis World Convention Center Hotel and over 3,000 easily-accessible parking spaces.

The ever-evolving Downtown Miami has seen massive growth and enhancement in its art, culture and entertainment scene over the past few decades as new parks and museums have opened and local staples have been revitalized. Within the past few years, a few new landmarks have opened in Downtown including the Perez Art Museum, the Philip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science and Museum Park, along with the revitalization of some of the older hotspots such as the American Airlines Arena, Adrienne Arsht Center, Bayside Marketplace and Bayfront Park.

The completion of Miami Worldcenter, together with the surrounding $3Billion of new public and private projects including mass transit, sports venues, museum, parks and entertainment will truly put Downtown Miami on the world stage as a global cultural hotspot.

This expression has resonated with many Americans, as it highlights the crucial role that one's home can play in fostering happiness and well-being. Indeed, when it comes to the various factors that contribute to a happy and fulfilling life, few things are as essential as the place where one lives.

For many people, their home is not just a physical structure, but a sanctuary - a space where they can feel safe, comfortable, and at ease. Whether it's a cozy apartment in the heart of a bustling city, a spacious suburban house with a large backyard, or a rustic cabin tucked away in the mountains, a home can be a reflection of one's personality, values, and aspirations. It can also serve as a backdrop for cherished memories, from family dinners and holiday gatherings to quiet moments of solitude and reflection. Given all these factors, it's no surprise that many Americans place a high priority on finding the right place to call home. Whether you're a first-time homebuyer, a renter looking to upgrade, or a retiree seeking a new chapter in life, the search for a happy home can be a deeply personal and meaningful endeavor.
